Las Vegas might reign supreme when it comes to House music and EDM DJs and clubs, but there is no shortage of different genres in the city. From Country to Hip Hop and everything in between, you can find just about any sound you’re looking for here. One of the most popular venues to visit if you’re looking for Hip Hop music is Drai’s Nightclub and Beachclub. This rooftop oasis takes the music movement to a whole new level – no pun intended. Is there anything as intoxicating as looking out over the Las Vegas Strip, lights glittering like a million tiny stars, and listening to some of the best artists and performers in the genre? The answer is no. There is nothing quite like Drai’s.
What makes this particular club so unique is its mixture of aesthetically pleasing and interaction-based elements. The interior and exterior design is nothing short of lavish. When you walk in, you’re met by incredible accommodations that include dance floor tables, poolside daybeds for the summer season, and an epic lighting system that features state-of-the-art displays to accompany the performers, which easily rivals high-end concert venues. Beginning September 24, 2022, a plethora of big names will begin hitting Drai’s stage, prompting the start of an epic Fall/Winter season. Just because the temperatures are dipping, doesn’t mean the talent does, too.
This coming weekend will feature Jeezy on Friday, September 23, with a live concert performance on the nightclub’s stage, followed by an encore with the famous artist Saturday at the Beachclub. Jeezy has won a number of awards for iconic songs like “Love In This Club,” which he worked on with Usher, and “Hood” which features Rhianna. While the majority of his popular songs came out in the early 2000s, he still remains a well-known name in the Hip Hop field and draws in big crowds to Drai’s when he headlines.
The following weekend of September 30, you can look forward to Jeremih and French Montana, performing back to back on Friday and Saturday in the evenings. Jeremih will also be taking over the Beachclub on October 1, helping to wind down the season as one of the biggest acts before the pool closes. You know his songs, including the 2014 hit “Don’t Tell ‘Em” which still plays across radio stations and in clubs to the delight of partygoers everywhere.
French Montana has dominated the Drai’s stage for ages, including a two-year residency at the club which began in 2019 and saw thousands of fans show up every time he performed. Before signing the contract with the club, he had featured on their stage before, as well as putting on shows in the other party capital of the world, Dubai. Montana, who is originally from Morocco, is known for his incredible energy and persona when on stage, and has provided the Hip Hop world with bangers like “All The Way Up” and “Unforgettable,” as well as “Pop That,” which was released in 2013 and received an award for Best Club Banger. If there was ever a perfectly worded nod to a classic party tune, that is it. Now you can see these famous artists perform all of your favorite hits while dancing on top of one of the most esteemed venues in Vegas both day and night.
Drai’s After Hours recently announced their recurring Imagine parties, which features theme nights and engaging opportunities to do a costume every first Thursday from October through March. Beginning October 6, you can jump into these epic parties with Wild Wild Drai’s, followed by the Black Light Project Volume II on November 3. December 1 will see Pillow Talk (most likely a Pajama-themed night filled with sexy nighties and hilarious footie sets). Rock On takes place on January 5, which will let all those headbangers feel seen, and then the Grease fans will get their time in the pre and post-dawn sun on February 2. End off this series with Animal House on March 2, perfectly aligned with the beginning of pool season. If you don’t have a toga, make sure to pack those spare sheets to make one. If you’re looking for the quintessential Las Vegas experience, search no further than Drai’s. You won’t find anything quite like it, and it might just turn into the best night (and morning) of your trip.
