Las Vegas has long been a place where big events and exciting festivities take place, and it is considered one of the party capitals of the world. It is no surprise, then, that Formula 1 will be taking place here in November of 2023, bringing the beloved racing sport to the Strip. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Formula 1, it is considered one of the most exciting and popular races due to the single seats and exposed cockpit that make up the car. Racing has captured the hearts of fans due to its mixture of human and machine elements, and Formula 1 pushes every boundary of speed and athleticism there is to create something truly unique and engaging.
The event has been held across the world, including countries like Singapore, Australia, Portugal, Italy, Mexico, Germany, and Brazil… the list goes on and on. Hosting this epic race in Las Vegas is not only a huge honor for the city but history in the making. Whether you like the idea of Formula 1 or not, rest assured Sin City is going to be going nuts when it comes to town, with parties, festivities, and thousands of people from all over coming to be a part of the magic. While the event itself is still a year away, Vegas wanted to tap into that electric energy that has already surrounded the announcement.
The “free fan festival” will take place on November 5, 2022, and plans to feature driver appearances, activities, and even drone shows throughout the day and evening. In the past, F1 Fan Festivals have previously held festivals in cities like Miami and Los Angeles, letting attendees celebrate their favorite event all together beforehand. The festival is scheduled right between the Mexico City Grand Prix and the one taking place in Sao Paulo, which is allowing a variety of teams and drivers to be included.
The celebrations are set to run from 11 am until 11 pm, meaning there is a full 12 hours of activities to partake in. There will be pitstop challenges, live car runs (which will take place on the actual strip), and of course: an official after-party. What would any big event be in Las Vegas without a mind-blowing afterparty to commemorate the occasion? You can head over to Omnia Nightclub once you’ve had enough of the outdoor activities, but be ready to party because it’s none other than Alesso performing for EDM and House fans deep into the night.
The Swedish DJ isn’t new to the Vegas scene, and is known for bangers like “If I Lose Myself” and “Heroes.” He is usually a resident at Tao and Marquee, but for the Grand Prix Launch Afterparty he’s taking to the Omnia Nightclub stage to “wow” attendees. Tickets start at $75 for males and $50 for females, but that is a small price to pay for the chance to rub elbows with drivers or celebrities who are looking to enjoy one of the best clubs in the city. Or you can reserve a VIP table by contacting Richard Candido, lead VIP host at Omnia.
Omnia is known for its extravagant layout and world-renowned DJs, so expect this to be a night to remember. From great tunes to an electric vibe that will be higher than anything you’ve ever experienced, this is one party you won’t want to miss. Grab your tickets or reserve a table early, as this event is likely to sell out.
