Ghostbar at Palms

Ghostbar was the first of its kind in Las Vegas — an ultra lounge with a spectacular panoramic view, and remains to this day one of the trendiest venues in town. Featuring a classic view of the Las Vegas Strip from the 55th floor of the original Palms tower, as a frequent hangout for a-list celebrities, and with its “trademark” Plexiglas square on the outer deck that allows you to look down hundreds of feet to the swimming pool below – Ghostbar is the perfect choice for those looking for a slightly less hectic environment, but who still want all the perks of the traditional Las Vegas nightclub atmosphere.

THE SETUP AT THE DOOR: Depending on which night you choose to visit this club, you should walk up to a mass of people waiting to get into both Rain Nightclub and Ghostbar. You will want to get into the Ghostbar group on the left and work to get the doorman / host’s attention. It usually isn’t a problem, but due to the medium size of Ghostbar, the venue will occasionally be at max capacity on weekend nights, or rented out for private parties, so it is possible that you might have to wait a bit to get past the ropes.

BEST NIGHTS TO GO: Ghostbar is an excellent choice for those looking to get a cocktail with a view any night of the week, but clubgoers will appreciate Wednesday, Friday and Saturday the most.

DRESS CODE: Style is encouraged at Ghostbar, so you should be good with anything that looks like you planned on going out. Always be mindful of wearing nicer shoes and avoid anything that can be considered too sporty (track jackets, jerseys, hats, etc). Remember, if you are unsure if something will work or not, play it safe.

DRINK PRICES: Mixed Drinks Start at $11, Beers $7, Shots $7, and Table Service Bottles Begin at $350.

BEST TABLE LOCATION: You really only have one of two options at Ghostbar, inside or outside! If you are in the mood for the view of the Strip, request a patio table. Otherwise you can enjoy the equally impresive scene of people inside.

HIDDEN FEATURES: Certainly far from a hidden feature, but guests of Ghostbar enjoy the spectacular strip view from 55 stories up. Make sure to step on the plexi-glass window that looks straight down.
