To attend a Las Vegas nightclub or pool party, you must be 21 or older—no exceptions.
A common question, especially from international visitors, is: What forms of identification are valid for entry?
At the entrance of every nightclub or dayclub in Las Vegas, security checks every guest’s ID, therefore a current, valid photo ID is required of every patron visiting. Here are some key rules and guidelines to know:
Accepted Photo Identification:
- United States, Canada, England, Ireland, European Issued Driver’s License or DMV Identification Cards
- Passports – As long as there are not missing pages, laminated, handwritten or expired.
- Military ID Cards
- Mexico Voter ID Cards
Prohibited Photo Identification:
- Mexico Matricula Consular ID (current or old)
- Any Issued ID stamped “Not for Identification”
- Student ID Cards
- Age Cards
- Paper ID
- International Drivers Documents/License unless listed as “Accepted” above
- Passports that are missing pages, handwritten, expired, or issued under the age of 18
