How to Survive a Dayclub and Nightclub in the Same Day in Las Vegas

How to Survive a Dayclub and Nightclub in the Same Day in Las Vegas

There’s one piece of Vegas wisdom that gets proven true every single weekend—like clockwork. You’ll be living it up at the pool party all afternoon, you and your friends are having the time of your life, the drinks are flowing, everyone swears they’re rallying for tonight’s nightclub. Then, right around 9 or 10 p.m., the group chat goes off:

“We’re not gonna make it. half the group is still asleep.”

Sound familiar? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Las Vegas is a marathon, not a sprint—especially if you’re trying to do the dayclub–to–nightclub combo in one day. It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you want your squad to actually pull it off, follow our three tried-and-true tips.

    1. Don’t Stay at the Pool Until Close

We get it—leaving a packed pool party while the DJ is still on feels like a crime. But trust us, if you stay until that last splash or final round of shots at 6 p.m., your odds of making it to the nightclub drop to zero real quick. Cut yourself off around 5 or 5:30 p.m. at the latest. Give your future self a fighting chance.

Insider Tip: For those of you who don’t know, the headlining DJ goes on around 3 p.m. and is off around 5 p.m. So what are you missing out on staying until close?

    2. Grab a Quick Bite of Food

The moment you leave the pool, resist the temptation to sit down for a long dinner. You do not have time for a three-course meal or fancy sushi omakase. Think quick and satisfying: pizza slice, tacos, something grab-and-go from your hotel food court or even room service. Fuel up, hydrate and move on.

    3. Take a Nap—No Excuses

This is the golden rule. If you skip this step, someone in your group will crash and burn. Set an alarm, pull the blackout curtains, and get a power nap in—an hour or two can be the difference between closing the club and tapping out before midnight.

Insider Tip: If you’re on the guest list, early arrival is key. Some venues require you to begin lining up between 9 – 10 p.m. You can join any of our Las Vegas guest lists for free.

Vegas days can turn into Vegas nights real fast. If you want to do it right—pool party during the day, club by night—be smart about your time. Don’t overdo it early, eat quick, and for the love of all things, TAKE A NAP! Trust us, your group will thank you you’re inside the club instead of sending that “We ain’t gonna make it” text.
