Hawaii!

 

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.

I first started go-go dancing, bartending, and cocktailing at various venues back home in Hawaii.

 

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

A few less hours of sleep during the nighttime.

 

What does a typical day at work look like for you and what is your “normal” schedule?

Thursday-Saturday you can catch me at Tao Nightclub! Otherwise, I’m probably hanging out at Marquee on a Monday night or Tao Beach on Sundays 🙂

 

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

Around an hour

 

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

Usually never, unless it’s for work XD

 

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas market right now?

DJ Chuckie

 

What is your drink (alcoholic) of choice?

I rarely drink, but if I do, then a blanco tequila or vodka

 

What is your secret cure to a hangover?

Hydrate well before, during, and after – PEDIALYTE!

 

What was the longest timeframe you have stayed awake? When and why?

Probably my first time ever visiting Vegas because I wanted to do all the things, see as much as I could, and get a feel for the industry. Now that I’m here, I mostly stay home :b

 

What do you enjoy most about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

We get to extend the great hospitality of our city and venues to visitors and guests!

 

What is your least favorite part about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

Dealing with people who act entitled, whether they’re visitors or locals.

 

If you were not working in nightlife or hospitality, what would you be doing?

Video game streaming on Twitch!

 

Do you have a mentor in the industry? If so, who? If not, who would you like to be mentored by?

My two mentors, while in Vegas, have been Kat Day and Joey Williams (now Joey Livingston).

 

Craziest or most memorable experience working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

Go-go dancing for the Tao 10 year anniversary. It was awe-inspiring to see so many celebrities and artists gathered together under one roof through the legacy of Tao Group.
