It’s rare an artists bursts onto the music scene and instantly becomes a household name as quickly as John Summit has. His real name, John Walter Schuster, might not spark recognition immediately in new fans, but his stage name has become a regular search on Spotify, with an astounding 500 million streams across the world.
Born in Chicago, Summit didn’t catapult into fame without hard work and dedication: in fact, he used to teach music production by filming tutorials and posting them on YouTube to help others who had similar interests as him. His day job was far from the glamorous before he became a regular in world renowned clubs and at highly accredited festivals: he worked as a CPA until he shot to stardom. His humble beginnings have made him a favorite with people throughout the music business and followers alike, which is why he seems to be everywhere you turn these days.
His record label Experts Only was created with the vision to expand the listening experience when it comes to music – allowing artist to experiment and explore their passions and break genre boundaries. But it’s his recently announced residency at LIV Nightclub in the new Fontainebleau Las Vegas that has people clamoring to secure tickets and tables at the Miami-inspired club. LIV is slated to be the city’s up and coming party spot, and with John Summit at the helm of the music entertainment, it will certainly make waves in all the best ways.
While Summit is by no means new to the club scene in Vegas, having previously performed in Tao group venues, headlining at LIV will certainly keep him in the spotlight and hopefully pumping out more epic beats. He has also been added to Insomniac’s Forever Midnight festival, which is going to bring a whole new vibe to NYE celebrations in the city.
John summit seems to be here to stay – so make sure to add yourself to the guest list or book your VIP table before his shows at LIV sell out!
