Sherman Oaks, California

 

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.

Started off as a food runner at Palms Hotel during Ditch Fridays. I turned 21 and started bussing at Encore Beach Club for 3 Years and then switched over and started hosting earlier this year.

 

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

After working in the industry I learned that 4 hours of sleep is good enough and that there’s never enough caffeine.

 

What does a typical day at work look like for you and what is your “normal” schedule?

Wake up at 9:30, Head to EBC from 10:30 to 4ish. Head home, hit the gym, eat and then get ready for XS: Head over to XS at 9:30pm, then leave back home around 230.

 

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

An hour or so.

 

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

2 nights a week.

 

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas market right now?

RL Grime & Diplo

 

What is your drink (alcoholic) of choice?

Strictly tequila

 

What is your secret cure to a hangover?

2 advils and a bottle of water before I go to sleep

 

What was the longest timeframe you have stayed awake? When and why?

60 hours straight…Went to work stayed out a bit after then ended up flying to Mexico for 2 days.

 

What do you enjoy most about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

The crazy and interesting people you get to meet on a daily basis. Each day/night is never the same.

 

What is your least favorite part about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

The hours are horrible, but at this point I have come accustomed to it.

 

If you were not working in nightlife or hospitality, what would you be doing?

I would be in a office somewhere looking at excel spread sheets as a financial analyst and/or broker.

 

Do you have a mentor in the industry? If so, who? If not, who would you like to be mentored by?

I have plenty people around me that I would consider mentors, but the two main people would for sure be my older brother Jai Shaun White and Michael Lombardo.

 

Craziest or most memorable experience working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

Way too many too name to be honest, but to talk about something positive. The benefit concert at Omnia after October 1st. Great seeing everyone in the industry come together to form a great night.
