If not originally from Las Vegas, where did you move here from?

I was born in Iran and moved to Vegas when I was 3 years old.

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.

I started working in the nightlife industry when I was hired to be a lifeguard at EBC at age of 18. Ever since getting that job, and working in that environment, I realized once I turned 21, nightlife is where I would want to be.

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

The grind never stops. Sleep less work more. Ever since I started working in the industry, I can’t remember last time I had full 8 hours of rest.

What does a typical day at work look like for you and what is your “normal” schedule?

I check in with all my casino hosts, Concierge, front desk agents. Bring them coffee, build a relationship with them so it’s not always work related. Then once I’m done I open my laptop and start doing email blast, and contacting my clients coming into town that week.

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

I would say about an hour, spend 20 mins of it on my hair lol can’t mess with the flow.

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

If I’m not at school or have any school related assignment, you’ll see me out every night and especially at After Hours.

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas market right now?

Migos, hands down.

What is your drink (alcoholic) of choice?

I don’t drink alcohol.

What is your secret cure to a hangover?

Best answer you’ll ever get. Don’t drink that simple lol

What was the longest timeframe you have stayed awake? When and why?

2 whole days. First year working in the industry and experiencing my first MDW weekend.

What do you enjoy most about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to network with anyone in the world and you’ll never know who you meet and who becomes your friend. From sports athlete, billionaires, to models.

What is your least favorite part about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

Ever since I started working in the industry, my least favorite part would be not being able to sleep the hours I want and not eating healthy because I’m always on the go

If you were not working in nightlife or hospitality, what would you be doing?

Working for my family car dealership.

Do you have a mentor in the industry? If so, who? If not, who would you like to be mentored by?

N/A

Craziest or most memorable experience working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

My craziest experience was my first season at Drai’s where I had to work Drai’s Beach Club and Nightclub, while going to school full time to get my finance and marketing degree. Balancing everything was crazy but it was manageable. The most memorable moment is working my way up to becoming a successful host at such a young age and being the baby of the family at Drai’s. Also being the first middle eastern host at Drai’s to capture that market.
