If not originally from Las Vegas, where did you move here from?

I was born in Guam, and since have lived in Virginia, Washington, SoCal, moved out of my parents house at 16 to LA, then Mexico, New York, Liberia-West Africa, back to LA, and finally Vegas- 4 months ago.

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.

This is basically my first year working in nightlife. Prior to this, I was working all corporate and also within the non-profit and political field. I worked with a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in New York that eventually moved me out to Liberia to help manager her presidential campaign. I got super sick and had to get on an emergency flight back to the states, and when I got there I decided to take a break from any initiatives and try to have more fun. I started bartending for Tao group, then through past affiliates became the director of VIP services for the Maxim events, and also got into large-scale and celebrity event management. From there I decided to try my luck (pun intended) at a job in Vegas and I struck.

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

The hospitality. I love how much we take care of each other as fellow industry members. You have access to everything and anything. This industry is super fast paced and everyday is different; I meet so many people from all over the world. It’s almost like traveling without having to actually go anywhere. There’s always something to do. Also, I don’t sleep anymore.

What does a typical day at work look like for you and what is your “normal” schedule?

There is no “normal schedule” in this industry. A typical day at work is doing my best to provide superior service, and obviously upsell the hell out of everything to everyone. I really just love being able to interact with so many people

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

Lol, depends on how hot I’m trying to get. If I really had to, I could make it work in 45 minutes or less. An hour-hour and a half is ideal.

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

I travel a lot so it varies. Maybe once a week, some weeks maybe twice.

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas?

Loving DJ Franzen!
