If not originally from Las Vegas, where did you move here from?

Alabama

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.

I got a job working security at wet and did that for over 2 years. Eventually I was given the opportunity to interview for host.

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

Everything. I go out much more, I am constantly networking and meeting people. A lot more work, but it’s fun.The industry has definitely made me more outgoing.

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

About an hour.

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

3-5

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas right now?

I love seeing Slushii the rare times he’s at XS.

What is your drink (alcoholic) of choice?

Jack and Coke

What is your secret cure to a hangover?

Coconut water the night of, then the morning after. Works every time

What was the longest timeframe you have stayed awake? When and why?

I stayed up for about 28 hours this past EDC because I went straight from work, to EDC, to office hours

What do you enjoy most about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

I like that Nightlife is kind of its own little family of people. You see these people so often that they actually become your real friends that you keep for life. It kind of reminds me of Greek Life in college.

What is your least favorite part about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

The only thing I don’t like is always having somewhere I have to be, or something I have to do. Being busy is great, and means there’s money being made, but it definitely gets exhausting running around all day and night every day.

If you were not working in nightlife or hospitality, what would you be doing?

Focusing more on my internet marketing business.

Do you have a mentor in the industry? If so, who? If not, who would you like to be mentored by?

I don’t have any particular Mentor, but I make an effort to absorb the best of those around me. Everyone on my team has been quick to help and offer advice, so if anything my team is my mentor.

Craziest or most memorable experience working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

I think one of the best times i’ve had was the closing party for The Bank. The whole party was basically industry and everyone was basically blackout drunk having the time of their life.
