If not originally from Las Vegas, where did you move here from?

I moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles.

 

How did you start working in the nightlife or hospitality industry? Give a brief work history / background.  

I originally worked in the financial industry. Right there I enjoyed helping others so I wanted to get into something that is very fast paced and that I can be very personable while thinking outside the box.

 

Now that you are working in the industry, what is different about your lifestyle?

What is now different about my lifestyle since I’m in the industry is that when “normal” people go to work, I have my day off.

 

What does a typical day at work look like for you and what is your “normal” schedule?

My typical day at work consists of 24/7 networking with every single person in Las Vegas. On the weekends I work operationally at our beach club and nightclub. I don’t think we really have a “normal” schedule because once our guests land in Las Vegas, that’s when we start working. It is a lifestyle…

 

How long does it take you to get ready for work?

It takes about one hour to get ready for work.

 

How many nights a week do you go out (to a club)?

I try to go out every night to the club and casino.

 

Who is your favorite DJ/performer in the Las Vegas market right now?

There are many great DJ’s and performers in Las Vegas. My favorite would be Diplo because he gets the crowd going with all sorts of genres.

 

What is your drink (alcoholic) of choice?

My favorite drink of choice is Tequila on the rocks.

 

What is your secret cure to a hangover?

My secret cure to a hangover is to eat a big meal after I had a lot of drinks. 

 

What was the longest timeframe you have stayed awake? When and why?

The longest timeframe I stayed awake was for work. About 2 days going with zero sleep helping out opening a hotel in Los Angeles.

 

 

What do you enjoy most about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas? 

What I really enjoy about working in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas is the fact that it is always busy. I enjoy making the guest’s day & night and gaining long-term friendships around the world.

 

What is your least favorite part about working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas?

My least favorite part of working in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas is that I don’t have any weekends off to spend time with my close family and friends.

 

If you were not working in nightlife or hospitality, what would you be doing? 

If I was not working in nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas I would be in Real Estate Development.

 

Do you have a mentor in the industry? If so, who? If not, who would you like to be mentored by?

I have many mentors in the industry. My group of mentors are a majority of my teammates and management at Wynn. They do a pretty well job helping me succeed and understand the business. My goal is also to be mentored by the visionaries of my company.

 

Craziest or most memorable experience working in the nightlife or hospitality industry in Las Vegas? 

My most memorial experience working in the nightlife industry is watching one of my coworkers have a guest that spent about 500k in one night. I’m telling you, it was unreal on how much money that is spent in just one night!
